Senior Orthopedic Technician

Under supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Clinical Supervisor (physician and advance practice provider), and in a manner in line with company policies and procedures, federal, and state regulations, and N BOTC guidelines performs orthopedic procedures which include but are not limited to applying casts, splints, braces, and bandages, in all orthopedic areas which include the cast room, emergency room and operating room.

• Applying casts, splints, braces, and bandages
• Training of other orthopedic personnel
• Patient education
• Resource for the ordering of supplies and equipment

• One year experience within the past three (3) years as an Ortho Tech
• Basic Life Support
• Orthopedic Technologist Certificate from National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists
