Operating Room Technician

A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Technician with a strong background in surgical technology and proficient Epic charting skills.

• Assist surgical teams in the operating room by preparing and organizing instruments and supplies.
• Ensure a sterile environment to maintain patient safety during surgical procedures.
• Perform Epic charting accurately to document surgical details and patient information.
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth surgical operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Current certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Proficient in Epic charting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of hands-on surgical technology experience.
• Computer literacy to manage electronic records efficiently.
• Certified by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) is required.
