Teacher of the Visually Impaired

A K-12 school in Stratford, WI is seeking a qualified teacher specializing in services for students who are visually impaired. This contract position offers an opportunity to support the educational and developmental needs of visually impaired students throughout the academic year.

• Provide direct instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt instructional materials and assessments to ensure accessibility
• Utilize assistive technology and specialized instructional strategies
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in meetings and professional development relevant to visual impairment education

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience working with visually impaired students in a K-12 educational setting
