A K-12 educational institution in Athens, WI, is seeking a qualified professional skilled in working with students who are visually impaired.

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across grades K-12
• Develop and adapt curriculum and materials to accommodate students’ unique learning needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress regularly
• Implement assistive technology and other tools to enhance student engagement and accessibility
• Participate in professional development related to visual impairment education and federal/state regulations

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or equivalent qualification
• Experience teaching K-12 students with visual impairments
• Knowledge of relevant instructional strategies, diagnostic tools, and adaptive technologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
