About the role
The Clinical Pharmacist supports the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying, and resolving medication use issues to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction, optimize patient outcomes, and minimize costs.
Responsibilities
- Supports the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying, and resolving medication use issues to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction, optimize patient outcomes, and minimize costs.
- Works in both centralized and decentralized areas, performing all functions of a registered pharmacist including accurate and timely dispensing, clinical interactions with patients and the healthcare team, and technician supervision.
Requirements
- Doctorate Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Florida Licensed Pharmacist
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
- ASHP PGY1 Residency Preceptor Qualified
- BCPS willing to precept emergency medicine (PREFERRED)
