Clinical Pharmacist Emergency Department

The Clinical Pharmacist supports the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying, and resolving medication use issues to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction, optimize patient outcomes, and minimize costs.

• Supports the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying, and resolving medication use issues to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction, optimize patient outcomes, and minimize costs.
• Works in both centralized and decentralized areas, performing all functions of a registered pharmacist including accurate and timely dispensing, clinical interactions with patients and the healthcare team, and technician supervision.

• Doctorate Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Florida Licensed Pharmacist
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
• ASHP PGY1 Residency Preceptor Qualified
• BCPS willing to precept emergency medicine (PREFERRED)
