About the role
Construction Project Engineer (WMS3)
Responsibilities
- Delivering assigned highway construction projects
- Managing a team of professional and technical engineers
- Ensuring projects meet WSDOT policies, procedures, scope, schedule, budget, and documentation requirements
- Delivering projects in an environmentally responsible manner
- Reporting project status to WSDOT Regional and Statewide Executive management
- Coordinating input and resolving conflicts among internal teams, external agencies, contractors, and the public
- Certifying project changes and administration with a Professional Engineer's stamp
Requirements
- Professional registration as a Civil Engineer in the State of Washington
