About the role

Construction Project Engineer (WMS3)

Responsibilities

  • Delivering assigned highway construction projects
  • Managing a team of professional and technical engineers
  • Ensuring projects meet WSDOT policies, procedures, scope, schedule, budget, and documentation requirements
  • Delivering projects in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Reporting project status to WSDOT Regional and Statewide Executive management
  • Coordinating input and resolving conflicts among internal teams, external agencies, contractors, and the public
  • Certifying project changes and administration with a Professional Engineer's stamp

Requirements

  • Professional registration as a Civil Engineer in the State of Washington
