About the role
An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Oncology to provide skilled care in an oncology infusion setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies accurately and safely in compliance with protocols.
- Monitor patient responses and manage side effects or complications in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain clear documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Chemotherapy and infusion certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in oncology nursing, preferably within infusion centers.
