About the role
This professional-level consultant in DCYF’s Human Resource Management System (HRMS) unit is responsible for processing accurate and timely HRMS actions for all agency employees and positions, ensuring correct compensation statewide.
Responsibilities
- Maintain data integrity by reviewing all documents before entry into the Human Resource Management System
- Research, analyze and audit personnel actions
- Collaborate frequently with local Human Resources Consultants, Payroll, Classification and Compensation, and Labor Relations
- Provide professional-level consultation to HRCs regarding personnel actions and data definitions
- Establish and maintain positions within HRMS
- Assist with keying small and large-scale data cleanup projects
- Produce routine reports using HRMS
- Research and resolve problems/issues within the Organizational Management system
- Key Organizational Management data updates
- Create My Portal leave approval relationships/organizational units
Requirements
- Equivalent education and/or experience totaling five (5) years of progressively responsible, paid, professional experience in Human Resources or related field
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with focus on business, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or related field
- One (1) year of professional human resource experience (professional human resource experience means working full-time as a human resource professional performing HR functions)
