Registered Nurse ER

Provide critical and compassionate care as a skilled Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting, addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs ranging from routine clinic cases to complex Level I traumas.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Manage care for a diverse patient population including stroke, STEMI, trauma, post-surgical complications, pregnancy, pediatrics, and behavioral health patients.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring effectiveness and side effects.
• Document patient histories and interventions accurately.
• Assess and address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and health needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assign and delegate tasks effectively.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience, preferably in trauma care.
• Current RN license in New Mexico or compact state.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and TNCC.
