Responsibilities
- Interact with patients, guests and other hospital personnel in a friendly, responsive manner to insure that quality patient care is provided;
- Perform imaging procedures as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manual.
- Perform computer acquisition and processing necessary for the display, analysis and interpretation of the patient’s condition
- Participate in clinical education programs for the nuclear medicine personnel including training of nuclear medicine technologists, students, and house staff; as well as contributory involvement in staff in-services.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree (preferred)
- NMTCB or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (N); must maintain current
- Certified by State of Texas – MRT
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum of one (1) year experience (preferred)
