Anesthesia Tech

The Anesthesia Technician supports the anesthesia team in delivering safe and efficient patient care by preparing equipment, assisting with procedures, and maintaining anesthesia supplies.

• Prepares anesthetizing locations by setting up, calibrating, and maintaining monitoring devices and anesthesia equipment for scheduled procedures.
• Assists anesthesia providers with aseptic or sterile techniques during non-invasive and invasive procedures, including airway management and intravenous or arterial line placement.

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred or College or coursework in Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, or related scientific fields preferred
• 0-2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital or surgical setting preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred
