About the role

Responsible for Security, Emergency Management, Speedway Operations, and other assigned programs. This position manages the implementation and operation of the Security Management program, assessing security threats and planning appropriate strategies and countermeasures. This role also reviews and analyzes data to devise risk minimization programs, and collaborates with colleagues to ensure consistent Security Operations across all locations.

Assists with budget preparation, analyzes financial statements, and controls costs. Manages facility access points and visitor management. Interfaces with administration, physicians, employees, contractors, and customers, reflecting Service Standards. Oversees Security operations, parking, and traffic enforcement. Promotes security awareness and exemplary customer service to security supervisors and officers.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's with course work in management, security, law enforcement, or emergency management or other related field Required Technical/Vocational School Completion of an equivalent program of instruction at an accredited vocational educational facility Required 3 years experience [Required] 5 years of supervisory experience in general security, military, civilian law enforcement, emergency management or a combination of these fields with heavy customer contact. patient care experience [Required] Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Driver's License (DL) State of Florida Class E drivers license and driving record in accordance with AdventHealth Policy Required Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's in business administration with significant relevant coursework in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or a related field of study Preferred Formal training and experience with the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS), specifically FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 [Preferred] Previous verifiable experience in a Healthcare Security setting [Preferred] State of Florida Class D Security License Preferred IAHSS Supervisor (CHSS) [Preferred]
