About the role
This position offers a unique opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting in Willis, TX. The role is very part-time, primarily focused on completing three evaluations by mid-February, along with ongoing observation, report writing, and parent communication duties throughout the school year contract.
Responsibilities
- Conduct three comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations by February 13th.
- Observe students and gather behavioral and functional data.
- Write detailed reports based on evaluations and observations.
- Communicate effectively with parents and educational staff regarding student progress and therapy recommendations.
- Maintain compliance with all occupational therapy licensure requirements.
- Provide on-site services exclusively, ensuring direct support and collaboration within the school environment.
Requirements
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with K-12 populations.
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
- Ability to engage with students, parents, and school personnel professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage evaluation deadlines and related documentation.
