PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN)

An opportunity to provide specialized nursing care in a progressive care stepdown unit is available in Salem, NH.

• Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients using telemetry equipment and managing chest tubes.
• Administering cardiac drips such as dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo, as well as caring for patients with external pacemakers.
• Performing standard progressive care procedures, including pericardiocentesis with drain management, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Utilizing electronic medical records to document patient care accurately.

• Current RN license with experience in progressive care or stepdown nursing.
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and chest tube management is essential.
• Prior experience with cardiac drips and external pacemakers preferred.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
