About the role

School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) – Portland, OR

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a collaborative and student-centered school team in the Portland area. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year, offering an opportunity to support students in building strength, mobility, and independence to thrive in their educational setting.

About the Role: As a school-based PT, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to ensure each child has the resources and strategies they need to access their education successfully.

Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and identify students’ physical therapy needs. Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student. Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings. Monitor progress and maintain thorough, accurate documentation. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals. Stay compliant with all state and district policies.

Requirements: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Active Oregon PT license (or eligibility prior to the start date). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
