• Perform assessments of patients and families encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual factors
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care aligned with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff based on licensure and capability
• Carefully document care and communicate shift handoffs clearly
• Participate in ongoing patient education and in-service training
• Serve as a resource and mentor for new staff as needed
• Uphold compliance with patient confidentiality laws and hospital practices

• Current CA Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in orthopedics required
