• Teach science content in an engaging, accessible way tailored to student abilities
• Lead a 9th-grade homeroom, providing structure and emotional support to students throughout the day
• Work closely with support staff, therapists, and administration to meet academic and behavioral goals
• Modify curriculum and instruction based on IEPs and individual needs
• Build trust with students and create a classroom culture of respect and consistency
• Track progress and communicate regularly with families and team members

• Valid NYS teaching certification in one of the following: Special Education, General Education
• Experienced (or comfortable) working in a special education environment
• Bring creativity, patience, and structure to your teaching
• Organized, collaborative, and passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally

• Immediate start with consistent hours (30/week)
