Educational Diagnostician

We are seeking a skilled educational diagnostician for a contract position to support our K-12 school located in Arenas Valley, NM. We're looking for a skilled professional with expertise in assessing and identifying students’ learning needs to support educational planning and interventions.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning.
• Interpret evaluation data and provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for instructional support and accommodations.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and areas for improvement.
• Monitor student progress and adjust evaluation strategies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding special education assessments and documentation.

• Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, data interpretation, and special education law.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
