Research Project Coordinator (COM 2) at the Department of Commerce
Responsibilities
- Coordinate programmatic research and technical assignments
- Develops, implements, and monitors legislatively mandated research
- Conducts technical literature reviews, collect and utilize data to perform analyses
- Produces technical reports and other research products
- In consultation with the broader project team, conducts and oversees workshops and seminars
- Provides technical consultation and training to public and private clients
- Makes technical recommendations and consults on projects, programs, policies, and plans
- Assists internal or external project clients with procurement processes and procedures
- Coordinates interviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Reviews, edits, and assists with the preparation of documents and fact sheets
Requirements
- Six (6) years of combined experience and/or education
- Ability to interpret the technical and political implications of legislation
- Writing concisely, clearly, accurately, objectively, and with appropriate analytical rigor
- Working in a consulting environment with tight, competing, and often fluid deadlines
