About the role
A K-12 school in Olympia, WA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students’ communication needs within an educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and strategies
Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in schools, preferably K-12
- Ability to assess, plan, and deliver effective speech and language therapy services for children and adolescents
- Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
