About the role

DEPUTY STATE FIRE MARSHAL - Inspections

Responsibilities

  • Perform fire and life safety inspections of state licensed facilities
  • Provide training, education and information when required
  • Conduct acceptance inspection in support of the plan review program

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of experience as a fire prevention officer, code enforcement officer: or insurance industry inspector
  • High School Diploma and WA State Divers License
  • Successfully complete pre-employment polygraph/background check with the WSP
