Clinical Nurse Educator Peds/Nicu

The role you'll contribute: Professional nurse who provides leadership in the development of staff education at the unit level in compliance with regulatory agencies in conjunction with the hospital mission, management and physician expectation. The educator combines clinical expertise and passion for teaching in both the classroom and practice setting, preparing and mentoring current and future generations of nurses. The Nurse educator plays a pivotal role in strengthening the nursing workforce, serving as a role model and providing the leadership needed to implement evidence-based practice.

• Designs curricula, develops programs of study, guides learners, and evaluates learning outcomes.
• Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs.
• Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
• Assists students and practicing nurses in identifying learning needs, strengths, and opportunities.
• Coordinates orientation of new staff, including agency personnel, into the organization.
