Wireless Systems Validation Engineer

Join our Wireless Systems Design Validation Team, where we ensure cutting-edge wireless and PHY systems meet rigorous performance standards across critical parameters

• Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for validating wireless and PHY system performance
• Collaborate with PHY, MAC, and RF design engineers to identify test requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide analysis to drive design improvements
• Collaborate with system integration and test engineers to maintain validation infrastructure and ensure wireless systems meet performance specifications across all critical parameters

• BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, with emphasis on WiFi; cellular technologies experience is a plus
• Deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments
• Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, including test framework design and implementation
• Experience with regulatory testing and certification processes, including emissions, spectral masks, band edge, and power compliance measurements
• Proficiency with RF test equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation and data analysis
