About the role
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Remote School Psychologist to support K–12 students in Ohio through virtual services. The School Psychologist will provide psychoeducational evaluations, support special education eligibility decisions, consult with school staff and families, and help foster students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development — all within a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments.
- Analyze and interpret assessment data to determine eligibility for special education services.
- Develop legally compliant and comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation team (MET) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Provide consultation to educators, administrators, and families on academic and behavioral interventions.
- Support implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI).
- Provide virtual counseling services or social-emotional support, as appropriate.
- Ensure documentation and services meet all Ohio Department of Education and federal compliance standards.
Requirements
- Licensure: Valid School Psychologist license issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
- Education: Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), Master's, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from a NASP-accredited program.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of school-based experience preferred.
- Experience in virtual or telehealth settings is a plus, but not required.
- Residency: Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work with Ohio school districts.
