Associate Underwriter Casualty

• Manage, analyse and defend an existant portfolio of business
• Build up a profitable book of new business
• Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business
• Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions
• Participate in client/broker meetings
• Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims
• Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers
• Give presentations, trainings and take care of internal and external networking
• Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives

• Relevant experience in the insurance environment
• Dutch/French + English language capabilities
• Commercial and analytical skills
• Structured, organized, open-minded, flexible, good communication skills, not afraid of hard work
• Team player
• Good communication & presentation skills
