About the role
As a key part of the Data Center Operations team, you will lead design and construction administration on large scale projects as Apple’s Owners Representative for the Mechanical Engineer team as a domain expert
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through concept, schematic, design development, construction documents, construction administration, commissioning, and final close-out documents
- Collaborate with multiple internal partners, customers and external project partners to drive delivery of data centers and infrastructure projects
- Hold architects, EoR, construction management, contractors, vendors and commissioning agents accountable on contract results and performance
- Proactively identifying, documenting, refining and incorporating lessons learned to improve operability, mitigate risks, and/or optimize project schedule, budget and build quality
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
- 5+ years experience with large mechanical cooling systems
- Ability to travel
