School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is needed for an elementary school setting in Allentown, PA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to support the health and well-being of young students in an educational environment.

• Provide routine nursing care to elementary students, including medication administration and first aid.
• Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify student health needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Manage and maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Promote healthy practices within the school community and support health education efforts.

• Current and valid LPN or LVN licensure.
• Experience working in a school environment preferred, especially with elementary-aged children.
• Competency in administering medications and performing basic health assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
• Ability to handle confidential health information with professionalism and discretion.
