Special Ed Teacher

A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Athens, GA. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY), offering the chance to support and enhance learning for students with special needs.

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching techniques to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to support student progress.
• Monitor and assess student performance, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Provide a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and success.

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary school students in a special education setting.
