About the role
Act as product owner for the machine learning models underlying our privacy-preserving search and recommendation systems
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the relationship between our machine learning models and business/customer outcomes
- Evaluate opportunity areas and create roadmaps for improving the machine learning models underlying our search and recommendation systems
- Develop success metrics for efforts to improve our models
- Work with the industry’s best engineers, data scientists, and researchers to create and assess A/B experiments on new models
- Work with privacy, engineering, and business teams to develop novel privacy-preserving strategies for collecting information for use in our models
Requirements
- Product Management experience
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in analyzing complex, large-scale data sets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in defining measurable and interpretable success metrics
- Customer-centric attitude
- Strong track record of collaborating with engineering and data science teams
