About the role

Act as product owner for the machine learning models underlying our privacy-preserving search and recommendation systems

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the relationship between our machine learning models and business/customer outcomes
  • Evaluate opportunity areas and create roadmaps for improving the machine learning models underlying our search and recommendation systems
  • Develop success metrics for efforts to improve our models
  • Work with the industry’s best engineers, data scientists, and researchers to create and assess A/B experiments on new models
  • Work with privacy, engineering, and business teams to develop novel privacy-preserving strategies for collecting information for use in our models

Requirements

  • Product Management experience
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience in analyzing complex, large-scale data sets
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in defining measurable and interpretable success metrics
  • Customer-centric attitude
  • Strong track record of collaborating with engineering and data science teams
