About the role
Registered Nurse 2 - RN
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a doctor or nurse practitioner
- Assess any change in condition and report concerns to the doctor, nurse practitioner, or supervisor
- Speak with family members/guardians and care teams to share health updates
- Chart medications, treatments, and health details in the clinical record/Electronic Health Record (EHR) accurately
- Correctly document, transcribe and implement verbal and telephone physicians orders
- Record your observations and any important health updates about residents in their clinical record
- Help in different units around campus when assigned
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
- Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing
- One year of professional nursing experience or college-level nursing education
