About the role
Fiscal Analyst 2 (FA2) who is a detail-oriented individual skilled in independently prioritizing their tasks and outstanding customer service skills, to join our team in the Comptroller Unit, within the Financial & Business Operations Division.
Responsibilities
- Interpret payment documents for compliance with contractual terms.
- Assist in the development of standards and procedures to ensure accountability needs of the Department are met.
- Problem solve with DCYF staff and external partners to resolve payment and service delivery issues in accordance with DCYF policy.
- Communicate telephonically, via e-mail, and written communication to providers, staff and community partners to educate and clarify payment issues.
- Analyze data and determine training needs of regional staff, providers, and community partners.
- Provide on-going consultation and meeting staff training needs.
- Provide Regional Management Team and Program Managers with requested data and reports.
- Review case records, FamLink and policies to ensure compliance to contracts, reports, etc. Notify contract manager of potential and actual contract compliance issues.
- Resolve discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
Requirements
- Equivalent education/experience totaling four (4) years
- Bachelor's degree
