Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Seeking a dedicated teacher specializing in visual impairments to support K-12 students in Medford, WI. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with visual disabilities.

• Provide tailored instruction and support to students with visual impairments across grades K-12.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focusing on visual skills and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure accessible learning environments.

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
• Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments in school settings.
• Strong knowledge of visual impairment strategies, tools, and educational resources.
