About the role
Provide expert nursing care in an acute stepdown unit, focusing on comprehensive patient assessment, coordination, and delivery of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate assessments and deliver nursing care to stepdown patients.
- Develop, evaluate, and coordinate individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
- Facilitate smooth transitions of care within the healthcare system.
Requirements
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- NIHSS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a stepdown nursing role.
