About the role
Support the Supervisor of Project Development and other Team Members as needed on Technology Security related tasks and projects. Responsible for implementing and maintaining a variety of security-related systems requiring significant interaction with Southwest Airlines Employees, vendors, and Contractors.
Responsibilities
- Assist with designing and implementing the system-wide growth plan of our video platform
- Input appropriate access levels into the Access Control system
- Maintain and upgrade production equipment
- Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the daily operational integrity of the enterprise video systems and other security technology
- Provide reporting on access and analyze historic video for forensic value
- Responsible for Contractor scheduling and installation oversight of video system and access control equipment in Southwest facilities
- Support long term security and operation department objectives
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Requirements
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of, buildings, or other structures.
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
- Ability to install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Skilled in Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
