Monitor Tech

Responsible for the continual observation, documentation and communication of all cardiac rhythm strip monitoring in designated units, as ordered by the patients physician.

• Obtains, interprets, and documents cardiac monitoring data per standard, documenting per standard in the telemetry monitoring system.
• Documents changes in heart rhythms per policy.
• Communicates changes in patients rhythm pattern and follows escalation process as applicable.
• Assesses and maintains telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Enters all telemetry charges if applicable.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• EKG Experience Preferred
