About the role
Occupational Therapy (OT) Needed Detroit, MI in Detroit, MI - Soliant
Responsibilities
- Assess students’ motor and functional abilities to create individualized therapy plans.
- Implement school-based interventions to improve daily living and classroom participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to provide accommodations for student success.
- Maintain detailed records and track student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student support.
- Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and group settings.
Requirements
- Active state OT (or eligibility to obtain).
- Master’s degree (for OT) in Occupational Therapy.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Passion for working with students in an educational setting.
