About the role

Occupational Therapy (OT) Needed Detroit, MI in Detroit, MI - Soliant

Responsibilities

  • Assess students’ motor and functional abilities to create individualized therapy plans.
  • Implement school-based interventions to improve daily living and classroom participation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to provide accommodations for student success.
  • Maintain detailed records and track student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student support.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and group settings.

Requirements

  • Active state OT (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Master’s degree (for OT) in Occupational Therapy.
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Passion for working with students in an educational setting.
