Cat Scan Technician

The CT Technologist is a non-exempt position that reports to both the Director of Radiology and the Department Supervisor. This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Review patient history and physician's orders
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications
• Continually monitor patient's condition and respond to changes
• Prepare equipment and supplies, implement safety standards, and perform quality control procedures

• Two (2) years of education: Certificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree
• Graduate of Program in Discipline, required or validated by current licensure
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology and CT
• (BLS) Basic Life Support required
