Special Ed Teacher

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to serve 5th grade students at an elementary school level, providing essential resource support. This full-time, contract position is ideal for educators passionate about making a meaningful impact in a special education environment.

• Tailor instruction to individual student needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff
• Maintain accurate records
• Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement
• Experience working with elementary-level special education students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
