About the role
WSDOT is excited to announce an opportunity for a motivated engineering professional to join our team as a Transportation Engineer 2, serving in the Traffic Design section in Spokane, WA
Responsibilities
- Assist the Traffic Design Engineer in the development and management of PS&Es
- Develop and review plans for approval and contract plans for geometrics, permanent signing, channelization, pavement markings, and work zone traffic control
- Apply Traffic-related Standard Specifications, Regional Special Provisions, Standard Plans and other manuals/procedures and makes recommendations for improvement
- Assist in the management of inventory related to the Region's P3 Electrical Program
- Assist in data collection and analysis
