School Social Worker 25/26

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to join our student support team. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to identify and overcome barriers to learning, fostering a positive environment for students.

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social and emotional development.
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners to coordinate services.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate intervention.
• Advocate for students’ access to resources including mental health services and family assistance.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings such as IEP and 504 plans.
• Maintain confidential and accurate records according to professional standards.
• Promote positive school climate through prevention programs and workshops.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in school or community settings preferred.
• Knowledge of child development, family systems, and community resources.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups and work in a team setting.
