Counsel, Claim Legal - Strategic Resolution Group

This position handles complex legal matters, requiring established insurance coverage and litigation expertise.

• Provide prompt and actionable legal advice and other assistance to our clients with respect to complex liability coverage matters.
• Develop and implement resolution strategies for coverage disputes and coverage litigation.
• Proactively manage outside coverage counsel and legal expenditures.
• Achieve desired results through careful and effective analysis, research, advocacy, collaboration and client partnership.
• Approach disputes and issues creatively and strategically, with a relentless resolution focus.
• Consistently demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, innovation, professional excellence and the highest ethical standards.
• Consistently exhibit strong and persuasive communication skills.
• Value and develop true partnerships with clients and other colleagues.

• Five years of prior legal experience as a practicing attorney.
• Juris Doctorate or equivalent International legal degree; graduate of an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of prior legal experience as a practicing attorney.
• Active license to practice law in the state(s) in which representation is required.
