AVP-Revenue Cycle Back End

The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Back-End Revenue Cycle is responsible for overseeing all hospital system back-end revenue cycle operations—including billing, follow-up, denials management, cash posting, and collections—executed primarily through a contracted third-party revenue cycle management (RCM) vendor.

• Oversee all hospital system back-end revenue cycle operations—including billing, follow-up, denials management, cash posting, and collections—executed primarily through a contracted third-party revenue cycle management (RCM) vendor.
• Ensure accountability for vendor performance, alignment with system-wide financial goals, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while also driving innovation and performance improvement across the outsourced revenue cycle model.
• Partner closely with system leadership, hospital CFOs, and the third-party RCM vendor to ensure strong controls, optimal net revenue realization, and a seamless patient financial experience.

• Finance Professional specializing in Revenue Cycle preferred.
• Licensed Reimbursement Spclst credentialed from the Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred.
• Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.
