Software Engineer, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Security

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.

• Design, code, test and operate Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) cloud services.
• Collaborate regularly with other internal and external teams.
• Work primarily in Go, but also in the myriad of other languages scattered amongst GKE.
• Develop a full knowledge of the GKE ecosystem.
• Help the culture of the team continue to be a high executing and fun to work in.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Experience in Back-end Software Engineering, Design, Software Development.
