Psychiatrist 4 - WCC

The Washington State Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Psychiatrist 4 for Washington Corrections Center (WCC) located in Shelton, WA.

• Provide quality, timely, medically appropriate psychiatric services
• Manage caseload assigned by HSM1 or designee
• Ensure delivery of quality psychiatric services for all patients
• Diagnose psychiatric illness and associated conditions
• Identify and prescribe appropriate medications
• Ensure all service provision is in accordance with regulatory standards and all DOC policies and procedures

• Initial and continuous unblemished/unrestricted licensure in the State of Washington
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Possess or meet eligible criteria for Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Maintain current CME credits
• At least one (1) year experience working as a Psychiatrist
