About the role
The IT Business Analyst serves as the agency’s IT Business/System Analyst and is responsible for analyzing and documenting systems business requirements and developing designs that meet customer, and stakeholder needs and improve existing processes
Responsibilities
- Provide business and systems analysis for mission critical applications and systems
- Analyze current and requested system functionality to identify risks and gaps
- Facilitate definition and elicitation of business requirements
- Translate business needs into business requirements documents
- Serve as the primary liaison between business users/stakeholders and technical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field
- Four (4) years of demonstrated experience of information technology
- A combination of education and/or relevant IT experience
