About the role

Technical Program Manager - Mac

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers and others in support of new product development
  • Ensure the contract manufacturer readiness for very high volume production
  • Drive all technical operational issues related to SMT and system integration processes
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and resources to other engineering groups and project leaders
  • Act as lead engineer on a variety of projects and participate in project planning of major sub-projects

Requirements

  • BS in related Engineering field
  • 5+ years experience in engineering and manufacturing
  • MS in related Engineering field
  • Experience in introducing products into manufacturing, or high volume production
  • Excellent project management skills, experience working in a matrix organization
  • Direct experience leading any of the following functional engineering teams (ME, EE, TE, DFX, Etc.)
  • Experience working with International OEM partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment
  • New Product Introduction and Manufacturing Operations experience desired
  • Validated working experience with DFm & DFx
  • Proven track record of cost reduction, project management, and engineering design required
  • Solid understanding of GD&T principles
  • Proven understanding of pneumatics, servomotors, PLC, and PC-based control systems
  • JMP, Minitab & Six Sigma experience a plus
