Phlebotomist Outpatient Lab

The Laboratory Assistant II performs various laboratory support procedures in assigned areas which may include phlebotomy and/or specimen processing in clinical and anatomical pathology areas. In addition to having worked at Florida Hospital for at least six months, he/she must meet the required basic continuing education and department specific requirements.

• The Laboratory Assistant II performs various laboratory support procedures in assigned areas which may include phlebotomy and/or specimen processing in clinical and anatomical pathology areas.
• Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• 1 year of Phlebotomy Lab Experience Required
• Nationally certified in blood collection if phlebotomy duties Required
