Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, test, debug, document, and implement code for both existing and custom applications, components, and web services
- Work closely with System Analysts to resolve issues reported by customers for the accounting server and web-based applications
- Process improvement strategies and present technical solutions to facilitate those improvements
- Research, understand and proposes potential adoption of emerging technologies
- Provide leadership, training, and transfer of knowledge to other team members through in-person and written communications
- Collaborate with other system developers in resolving complex technical issues
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of recent professional IT experience
- Developing and enhancing applications using Visual Studio, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net
- Developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, MVC, JQuery, XML
- Writing and accessing database code using T-SQL, stored procedures, and Entity Framework
- Performing unit testing
- Applying development standards in a managed environment
- Working knowledge of disciplines (i.e. Business Analysis, Project Management, Data Management, or Systems Administration) as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to resolve application or data issues
