Responsibilities
- Review and assess incoming complaints, ensuring completeness; identify allegations; initiate initial acknowledgment and notification letters to complainants and respondents, serving as the primary contact.
- Prepare and send case resolution letters for resolved cases post-initial review.
- Present to the Commission on enforcement matters.
- Maintain databases for incoming complaints and formal investigations, monitoring progress and facilitating adherence to program deadlines and goals.
- Manage group enforcement by utilizing internal data to identify reporting issues; issue warning letters, hearing notices, and statements of understanding to respondents.
- Make penalty recommendations and present case facts in brief enforcement hearings.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports for hearings conducted before the full commission involving respondents ineligible for brief enforcement.
- Train and mentor team members in complaint intake and database usage, offering guidance on group enforcement and addressing routine legal inquiries.
- Offer oral and written responses to queries related to public disclosure law.
- Provide support and assistance to PF1 team members as needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree that included 10 semester or 15 quarter hours of college level accounting AND Two years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or the examining of records.
