About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI!

Responsibilities

  • Build, coach, and develop a high performing team of technical program management and demand planning professionals
  • Identify and drive progress towards team Objectives and Key Results
  • Lead generation of unconstrained and constrained short-term and mid-term hardware and capex demand plans
  • Develop technical insights into the product, customer value, COGS, and margin drivers
  • Optimize the demand plan for supply availability, business growth, and cost
  • Serve as focal point with EGs for all capacity topics
  • Identify business transformation opportunities to drive accuracy, capex optimization velocity, reduce cycle time and increase predictability
  • Identify macro / micro industry trends affecting demand and bake them into planning process
  • Bring thought leadership to help management build and execute vision, inspire team members to do their best work, and proactively align with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years people management experience; excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders, resolve problems, and seek practical solutions
  • 3+ years of proven analytical skills and knowledge in root cause analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies in a matrix environment
  • 2+ years of experience with demand forecasting and planning in Cloud and/or high-tech hardware supply chain
